 Ever have to wear heels on the treadmill or jeans to spin class because the essential gear never made it into your gym bag? OK, neither have I, but I have had to turn around and go home feeling frustrated and flabby.  Why not keep a little gym bag checklist right in the front pocket of your bag. Before you dash out the door just scan the list to make sure your remembered everything. Sneakers: check, running shorts: check, waterproof mascara to look your best in the pool: check! tip: I laminated my list, but printing on heavy card stock works just as well. Add Comment  Of all the office supplies I multi-task in my kitchen, my favorite is the binder clip. I keep them handy in the kitchen "junk drawer".  They are a perfect alternative to bulky bag clips or flimsy twist-ties to keep everything from chips to freezer frozen peas securely closed.  The toil of dishes can really do a number on your cuticles.  Today's solution: keep lotion close at hand and apply before putting on your gloves.  The warm water really maximizes absorption so hands look better than before you began. Get your own damn band-aid! 04/13/2011
 It seems just when you finally catch a breather someone is shouting, "MOM, I NEED A BAND-AID"!  Today's Solution: A magnetic locker box filled with Band-aids and Neosporin, kept conveniently on the fridge.  Nothing feels better than self-sufficiency! Just Spike it! 04/11/2011
 Post-its are great for all those little incomplete actions, but they can languish around your work space and clutter your vision. My favorite solution is spiking the completed notes on a good old receipt spike.  Nothing says accomplishment like impaling your post-its (especially if you add sound effects).  There are two problems with an exposed tube of Chapstick in the car: (1) someone else pockets it or (2) the lid is lost in the ether between my seats.
